Margaret Beerbower, Winterset
Graveside services for Margaret N. Beerbower, 87, Winterset, who died December 3 at Madrid, were held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. John Shaull officiating.
Born in Winterset on October 31, 1902, she was the daughter of James and Sarah Lease Gordon. She was a lifetime resident of Winterset, a member of the First Baptist Church, and the Royal Neighbors of America Lodge.
She graduated from Winterset High School in 1920 and was a great granddaughter of Caleb and Ruth Clark. On December 11, 1920, she married Orval Beerbower in Winterset.
Survivors include a son, James Beerbower of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Phyllis Scoles of Winterset; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973, parents, two brothers and a sister.
