BRAY, William Avael
William Avael Bray was born in Wright county, Iowa, on October 26, 1899. He came to Earl community in 1912, and has resided there since.
On April 13, 1927, he was united in marriage to Frances Wesenberg, and to this union two childre were born.
For the past 18 months William Bray has been in failing health. He passed away at Duluth, Minn. on Friday, January 19, at the age of 51 years, two months and 23 days.
He is survived by his wife and one son, Ronald, and one daughter, Ardene, his mother, Mrs. Horace Bray, five brothers, Marshall, Myron, Raymond, Joseph and Lloyd, two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Mortensen, and Mrs. Geneva Skerhutt.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 23, at 2 p.m., from the Earl Congregational church, Rev. J. P. Pennington officiating, with burial in Earl cemetery. He was a member of Spooner Lodge FAAM, No. 260.
