BRAY, Marshall Leroy
MARSHALL BRAY SERVICES HELD
Marshall Leroy Bray was born at Dows, Iowa, on August 21, 1901, and came to the Earl community in 1910 and resided there until 1962 when he entered the employment of the Jerome Industries at Barron, and has been located at Chetek, since.
On November 13, 1931 he was united in marriage to Mary Martha Campbell and to this union two daughters were born.
He had been seriously ill for the past eight months and passed away on Monday, June 24 at the Spooner Memorial Hospital, at the age of 66 years.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Cook (Phyllis) of Summerville, So. Carolina, and Mrs. Darrell Zillmer (Jacqueline) of Embarrass, Minn.; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gerhart Skerhutt, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Clarence Mortensen of Oxford, Calif.; three brothers, Raymond and Lloyd of Rural Spooner, and Joseph of New Richmond, and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at the Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner, Rev. Milton Ford officiated, burial was in the Earl Cemetery.
Casket bearers were: William Campbell, Jr., Marvin Bray, Earl Meyers, Richard Lester and Merton Zillmer.
