Maxine D. Evans, Milan, Ill.
Maxine D. Evans, 79, died Sat. Sept. 19, 1992 at Franciscan Medical Center in Rock Island. Funeral services were held September 22 at Larson Funeral Home in Milan.
Mrs. Evans was born on Jan. 8, 1913 in Winterset to Clarence and Nora (Walker) Clark. She married Gordon Evans on Decmeber 1, 1931 in Winterset.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.
Surviving relatives include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Doris Evans of Rock Island, Ill.; three grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Alexander and Agnes Brooker, both of Winterset; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to her church. Memorial Christian Church in Rock Island. Burial was at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates in Moline, Ill.
