Robert E. " Bob" Ely - Pueblo Chieftain - March 27, 2004 - Robert E. " Bob" Ely, 88, passed away March 24, 2004. Survived by his wife, Lorraine Ely; children, Suzanne (John) Hart, Atlanta, Ga., John (Barb) Ely, Omaha, Neb., and Joyce (Jim) Calhoun, Pueblo West; grandchildren, Kirk and Stephanie Hart, Susan and Nicholas Ely, Kelli and Morgan Calhoun; and great-grandchildren, Francesca and Hannah Hart. Robert was born Aug. 30, 1915, in Webster City, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and retired from the Kirsch Company as a sales representative. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2004, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Fr. Ephraim Radner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
