Services Held Today For Mrs. Mosness
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Gertrude Mosness, 209 S. 5th, who passed away at a nursing home in Maud August 29, will be Thursday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 at the First Methodist church with Rev. Chas. Hoole officiating.
Mrs. Mosness had been in ill health since 1951 and had been in the Maud Nursing home six months.
She was born April 22, 1874 in Clarion Co. Iowa, where she spent her girlhood. She moved to West Plains, Mo. leaving there in 1901 and coming to Jenning, Okla. She has been a resident of Davis 10 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Maud Kelley of Live Oak, Florida, Mrs. Francis Pike of Maud and Mrs. Mildred Harper of Davis; One brother, Frank Ely of San Diego, Calif., 5 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are T.S. Grant, Chas. Shivers, Buck Robinson, A.P. Bolton, Percy Francis and W.S. Thompson.
Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery with the Bahner Funeral Home in charge.
