Flora E. Potter

MRS. E. H. QUICK Died on Monday

Winterset Madisonian
June 7, 1967

Mrs. Everett H. Quick, a well known resident of the Patterson community most of her life, died Monday, June 5,1967, at her home in Winterset. She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Quick was the former Flora E. Potter, daughter of George and Hattie Gowin Potter. She was born at Patterson May 28,1898, and spent her life there until moving to Winterset in 1961.

She was married Feb. 14, 1915, to Everett H. Quick, who survives her.

She was active in the Patterson Methodist church for many years, and later in the Winterset church. She was a member of the Womens Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Speer of Patterson; three grandchildren; a brother, E. C. Potter of West Des Moines; and two sisters, Mrs. Mina Norman of West Des Moines and Mrs. Letitia Don Carlos of Perry.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Patterson Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial will be made in Montpelier Cemetery at Patterson.
