Ada Catherine Gordon, 89, of Winterset died December 6, 1999 of cancer at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were December 8 at Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield. Pastor Steve Koch officiated the services. Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

She was born December 27, 1909 in Adair County to William and Anna (Krum) Sachau. She married Warren D. Gordon in 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a retired manager for Burch Manufacturer's of Fort Dodge and a resident of Winterset since the mid 1980's coming from Marshalltown, Fort Dodge and North Liberty. She was a former member of Business and Professional Women in Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and two sisters.

Surviving relatives include a son Don Gordon and wife Margaret of Coralville and three grandchildren.
