Owned Yoders Poultry Market was WWII vet
Irvin G. Yoders, 86, of Fayette Street, Washington, died at 8:45 a.m.
Sunday, November 7, 1999, in his home, following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 12, 1913, in Washington, a son of Martin Streeter and
Esther McDaniel Yoders.
Mr. Yoders formerly owned and operated Yoders Poultry Market, Washington,
and was later employed by Washington Garment.
He was a graduate of Washington High School.
During World War II, he served in U.S. Army and received the American
Theater ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Yoders was a member of the National Lodge 81, Independent Order of Odd
Fellows, and Washington Senior Citizens.
He was a member of First Christian Church of Washington.
On January 9, 1943, he married Margaret Elizabeth Fish, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Judith McCarrell and Peggy Lou Durbin,
both of Washington; four grandchildren, Richard and David Durbin and Michael
and Kenneth McCarrell; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, John, Martin and Edwin Yoders; and two sisters,
Ruth Sargent and Esther Watson Caldwell.
