Death of MRS. SARAH GORDON
Sarah A. Gowin was born in Marion, Ind., May 12, 1832, and died March 12, 1908. She was married to W. I. Gordon, Nov. 21, 1850.
To this union were born twelve children, seven of whom are still living. There are left to mourn the loss of her sudden departure beside the children, her husband, two sisters and one brother
She was converted and became a member of the Church of Christ at the age of eighteen and until unable any longer to attend services was regular in her attendance.
The funeral services were held from her late home conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett, of the Christian church after which interment was made at the Gordon cemetery.
