My Mothers Brothers and Sisters



Margretta Callery Orr, Mom and Margie were twins born 29 March 1913, Mom was the last born but everyone in the family considered Margretta the "baby."

Sudden death of Mrs. Earl Orr

Funeral Services for Mrs. Earl Orr were held Saturday afternoon at the United Methodist Church with the pastor Rev. Donald Glassler in charge. Burial was in the Troy Cemetery south of Eagle Grove in Troy township.

Mrs. Orr died suddenly at her home on South Park Ave. the morning of April 29 and was 63 years of age at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Harold Rooney, of Webster City, and three step daughters. Other survivors are two brothers, Warren Callery, Marshalltown and Charles Callery, of Boone, and two sisters, Miss Carrie Callery and Mrs. Lauretta Evans of Webster City.

Obituary

Margaretta Callery was born March 29, 1913, at Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Laura Ely Callery.

She received her education at Webster City and graduated from Webster City High School in 1932.

She was united in marriage to Harold Rooney of Webster City. He preceded her in death.

She married Earl Orr of Eagle Grove, October 27, 1951. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove.
