" DICK MILLER, OLD COUNTY RESIDENT DIES AT AGE OF 92."
Came here in 1872, he was father of 19 children, 14 of whom survive him. There are also 51 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren alive. The deceased was employed as a teamster at Cameron and worked steadily up to the day of his death.
He came to Picketwire in the year 1851 and afterward went to California Gulch, above Leadville, by oxen team, returning again to Picketwire in 1866. After marrying he moved to Miller Lake, near Huerfano, in 1868 and proved up on a tract of land in 1872 where he continued to live as a citizen of Huerfano County.
Services held at St. Mary's church.
