"James A. and Jeannetta Koons' tombstone was bought with what was left after both of their medical expense and funeral expense. They had people that owed them but one was one of my uncles that had a big family and the other one was one of their younger sons that moved to Canada and wouldn't pay them back when they tried to get it. So the $49.68 that was left after expenses was to be used for a tombstone. The heirs all signed saying they agreed that the $49.68 left was to be used for a tombstone. My Grandpa Wm. (their oldest child) had passed away so all my uncles, aunts and Dad signed as his heirs as well as all of the rest of James & Jeannetta's children. I entered a copy of their will in the Lucas Co. Fair in the genie section about 2 years ago and got 1st place as it had all the signatures and was unique."
