Irwin William GORDON, son of William GORDON (1773-1841) & Sarah WALTON (1779-1857). Born on 7 Mar 1799 in Washington Co.,Pa. Irwin William died in Madison Co., IA on 5 Apr 1865; he was 66. Buried in Gordon cemetery, Lincoln twp, Madison Co., IA.
Grandfather Irwin W. Gordon purchased land for the Gordon Cemetery for his family. It is located just outside of Winterset, Iowa. It is beautiful and fitting final resting place for this loving family.
